    I believe there is an error in the text. Please make a change on
page 8, Part c, 

from
    x1[n] = 3*sin(pi/7*n)+j*4*cos(pi/7*n) 
to 
    x1[n] = 3*sin(pi/7*n)+j*3*cos(pi/7*n)
