1. A postdoctoral position is available at the Image Analysis and Communications Laboratory (http://iacl.ece.jhu.edu) and Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (http://www.lcsr.jhu.edu) of Johns Hopkins University. The successful candidate must have a strong background in software engineering (preferably C++), with applicability to medical image analysis of ultrasound. The position will involve development of real-time image analysis for a surgical device and imaging system that is currently in large animal testing and has a strong possibility of clinical use in the near future. The spin-off/startup company process is currently beginning and opportunities are present to play a leading role. Potential start dates range from July-October 2014.
