1. Dr. Prince is looking for a current Hopkins Ph.D. candidate in ECE, BME, or CS who would take a Research Assistantship on a project on imaging the tongue during speech. The project will involve processing magnetic resonance images, tagged images to image motion and diffusion images to image muscle fibers. Strong interest in medical imaging and medical image analysis is required as is a background in signal processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
2. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has faculty openings for tenure-track faculty positions at all levels and across all areas of electrical and computer engineering. Particular emphasis is at the junior level and in the areas of microsystems and computer engineering, language and speech processing, and signal and image processing; however, all qualified applicants in all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered.
