Amod Jog
I am a Ph.D candidate in the Computer Science department. I am also a member of the Image Analysis and Communications Laboratory in the ECE department at JHU. Currently my research interests are in intensity normalization and contrast synthesis in human brain magnetic resonance imaging. I am generally interested in medical image analysis, computer vision and machine learning.

Random Tips
- Latex Tips
- List all the files in a directory with full path: ls -d -1 $PWD/**
- Cropping images using convert - convert image.png -crop '160x218+30+20' image_cropped.png 160x218 is image size, +30+20 are the row and column offsets
- A gentler colour scheme for TexShop
- Word wrap in vim without breaking words and removing short lines
- Renaming files in a folder. This command replaces the long string starting from "mprage..." to "lToads" in the filenames: for file in *.nii ; do mv -i "${file}" "${file/mprage_pp_clone_lToads_seg_replaced_replaced_replaced/lToads}"; done
- Finding a folder/file with a particular string in a directory (recursively): find dirname -i "*STRING*"
